🚨 New law affecting UK medical training

The Medical Training (Prioritisation) Act became law on 5 March 2026 and will change how NHS training posts are allocated from 2026 recruitment onwards.

Expected impact:
📉 Lower competition ratios
🎓 More posts for UK graduates
📄 Fewer “placeholder” offers
🌍 International medical graduates can still apply, but prioritised groups may be considered first.
