Did you know that eating is one of the most complicated things we do?! In fact it is the only thing we do as a human where we use every single muscle and every single sense in our body!
And, did you know that babies don't know how to eat?! Just like they don't know how to crawl, walk or talk - the only way they learn is from being taught!

Eating taking time and patience and this might help you if you feel your little one is taking time on their weaning journey!

My final workshop before my holidays is in Brentwood next Tuesday so check out my website (see bio) to book your space!

Summer holidays mean lots of playdates for the kids! And, I love it as they are entertained and not nagging me as they are 'bored' every 5 minutes 🤣

So, I like to do some 'snacky' plates for the kids as usually there are a few options for everyone!

I served this with tomato pasta and cheese and it was a hit!

As I specialise in allergies, I spend lots of time learning, completing training and keeping up to date on the latest allergy information and research.

And so, when I hear that people are getting their potential allergies "diagnosed" via Vega testing, it makes me so concerned and to be honest, angry!

These are NOT tests which can diagnose allergies or intolerances.
Here is some info to consider if Vega testing was something you were thinking about.

Book onto one of my award winning weaning workshops (see bio) and I can help you to introduce allergenic foods safely.

Protein is something parents can be concerned about when starting solids, or when they are dealing with a fussy eater. They can worry that their child is not getting enough of this essential nutrient which is paramount for growth and development.

And, for those with a selective toddler, meat, eggs and fish are very common foods to suddenly be rejected! But, if you look, there are many other foods which provide decent amounts of protein for your growing child.

Think of ways of incorporating some of these foods into their diet, whether it be making a pea "pesto" with pasta or showing your fussy toddler how to "pop" edamame beans from their skins in a fun activity!

Also, rolling things like banana or avocado in chia seeds makes it so much easier for a weaning baby to grasp and bring to their mouth!

This Friday I am in Billericay. Come and join me and learn how to make your weaning adventures fun, safe and healthy!

I have just seen this advertised as a dairy-free milk and have to say, it looks great!

They have added prebiotics, iodine and omega-3 which is fantastic.

The prebiotics as chicory fibre really have shown to help with constipation so something to think about if you have a baby who is dairy free and can suffer from constipation.

Pea protein is a great source and we are seeing more dairy free alternatives using pea as the base.

Has anyone tried this yet?
