I was about to let this ten-year milestone slide... until it struck me on the way to work.
A decade ago, I bought my mum a Groupon for a yoga class in Laindon, to give us a both a local hobby. (Until then I went to yoga and spinning in London near work)
My first class was because it was a day and time that worked and it was yoga nidra, it turned out to be a game-changer - it even cured my jet lag from Thailand.
As I fell in love with having this lush community on my doorstep, which taught me I was hyper-mobile and more stressed than I realised.
I began practicing yoga most days.
That's when the thought of becoming a yoga teacher was planted.
I studied hard whilst running my full time job.
Took the leap.
If you're passionate about something, don't hesitate - you never know where it'll take you.
I never thought I'd have a job that doesn’t feel like work.
A job that brings me joy daily.
