Energy myths… busted! 🔥
There’s so much misinformation out there about making your home energy efficient. Our specialist advisors set the record straight ⬇️
💡 Myth 1: Cavity wall insulation is unreliable.
Truth: Modern insulation materials are safer, more efficient, and long-lasting.
💡 Myth 2: You can’t insulate old stone walls.
Truth: You absolutely can. Specialist solutions mean even older buildings can be cosy and energy-efficient without damaging the character of your home.
💡 Myth 3: Heat pumps don’t work in older houses.
Truth: Heat pumps can work in nearly any property. Sometimes a few tweaks are needed such as increasing insulation levels or installing larger radiators, but they’re not just for new builds.

Truth: Simple measures like sealing gaps and adding door brushes are quick, cheap, and can make a big difference to your energy bills.
