😍 🪈 🪘 🎶 Can’t wait to hear my friends and teachers NIGEL SHAW & CAROLYN HILLYER at the Community Hall IN LAIRG on Saturday 25th October 2025.
🎶 Expect wooden flutes, whistles, and maybe bone flute, overtone koncovka, fujara and more from Nigel, and Carolyn’s amazing and important women’s spiritual songs, drumming, chants and stories. Hopefully a chance to dance as well as to drift away on the music.
📚 They will have a stall selling their music and Carolyn’s books, pictures, Weaver’s Oracle cards etc. What a treat!
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 They are also playing at Anam Cara, Inverness on Sunday 2nd November, and The Salisbury Centre, Edinburgh on Friday 24th October on this Scottish Tour.

Great talk online tonight from Kenneth McElroy of the
It would be AMAZING to have a NEW Broch in Caithness - what a wonderful bit of experimental archaeology, and a fantastic future tourist attraction. They may even dig/build a Souterrain after the Broch.
Worth finding out about and supporting- the more followers & members, the more funding they can get. A parcel of land near Latheron has already been earmarked.
In the meantime, you can follow the Caithness Broch Trail 😊
