With a degree in Sports Science and a passion for horses Frankie decided to develop her knowledge of fitness and rehabilitation to the equestrian market. Frankie made the move to Lambourn specifically to follow this pathway 15 years ago in 2002. Since then she has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. In 2009 Frankie was chosen to set up and run the rehabilitation centre in Oaksey

House for The Injured Jockeys Fund. During this four-year period Frankie managed a team of therapists and worked with members of the racing community to rehabilitate and improve fitness for riding. With over 350 clients Frankie now works from her purpose built studio to treat, rehabilitate and improve sport specific fitness within the equestrian community. Frankie is currently conducting ongoing training at the University of Oxford with Osteopath John Gibbons author of The Bodymaster Method. Frankie also rides out regularly for trainer Oliver Sherwood and enjoys running and keeping fit.

Update….

For those of you that don’t already know I have now moved house and so won’t be running my business from Rockfel Rd any more.

I’ve been monitoring the situation regarding the ‘cost of living crisis’ and the additional costs of heating a treatment room alongside other costs and have decided to pause my business for the foreseeable future.

I will continue to monitor the situation and will of course update clients if there are any changes.

I would like to thank all my clients for their business over the years. I have been truly lucky to have had such an amazing client base and I will always be very grateful for this.

So for the moment at least it’s over and out from me 🙃

So today I had my first Covid jab at Newbury Racecourse. Huge thanks to Lambourn Surgery and all the volunteers and NHS workers for creating such a smooth operation!

Unfortunately I haven’t grown an additional arm and I’m not receiving a 5G signal 🙄

Work wise I am still treating people with pain or specific injuries. Please don’t book if you want a relaxing treatment (I don’t know how to do those 🤣).

There won’t be any changes because I’ve had my jab. I will continue to clean like I have OCD. I will continue to use my air purifier which absorbs particles that we don’t want in the air and both parties will wear face coverings.

Frankie Naylor Sports Therapy Update

Just a brief update to reassure my clients that I am still working during lockdown.

A number of people have asked the question and on Friday I got confirmation that I am still able to treat individuals who have pain or a specific injury (so that’s about 90% of my clients).

If you are older or if you have a pre existing health condition or live with someone who is shielding I will advise you not to come in at the present time. You are welcome to contact me for advice at any stage however.
