Allt Y Mynydd residents enjoyed a fantastic visit from Carl Bryant Music for Health! 🎶 They loved getting up to dance, sing along and play their instruments - such great energy all round! 💃🕺🥁 Thank you Carl for such a wonderful day!

We held a lovely Service of Remembrance on the 11th of November to honour all those who have served and sacrificed. Out of respect, no photos or videos were taken during the service. Here is a photo of our beautiful Remembrance display, thoughtfully created by our residents to commemorate the occasion. ❤️🌺

On Remembrance Sunday, one of our residents from Allt-Y-Mynydd attended the Remembrance Service in Llanybydder to pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for their countries. 🇬🇧🌺 A wreath was laid on behalf of everyone at Allt-Y-Mynydd, in honour of all those who gave their lives for our freedom. ❤️🙏

Some of our Allt Y Mynydd residents spent a lovely morning arranging beautiful flowers 🌸💐 It was a wonderful activity filled with smiles and conversation, as they reminisced about the flowers they used to grow, see and smell over the years. 🌷🌼

Our residents have been busy getting ready for Remembrance Day. ❤️ Together, they created some beautiful handmade poppies to proudly display around our home - a touching tribute to honour and remember all those who served. 🌺

Photography Students Needed!

We’re looking for passionate photography students who’d like to gain hands-on experience and capture some fantastic moments at our annual staff awards evening for Allt Y Mynydd and Blaenos House Nursing Home.

📍 The Plough - Llandeilo, Wales

We’re looking for someone to capture candid moments, staff receiving awards and the celebratory atmosphere of the evening. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain real event photography experience and expand your portfolio.

Allt Y Mynydd residents had a brilliant time taking on our apple bobbing challenge today! 🍎 💦 We set up three difficulty levels - 1. using tongs, 2. a litter picker, and 3. blindfolded! There were plenty of laughs and splashes as everyone got involved and gave it their best go. A fun activity enjoyed by all! 🍂 ✨

Happy National Chef Day! 👩‍🍳 Today we’re celebrating all of our incredible chefs across Ashberry Healthcare! Their hard work, creativity and passion bring joy to our residents every single day - from delicious home-cooked meals to beautiful cakes and high teas.

Our chefs play such an important role in supporting wellbeing and making each mealtime special. Thank you to every member of our catering teams for all that you do! 🍽️👏

Three of our residents from Allt Y Mynydd enjoyed a fantastic trip to Ffos Las Races yesterday! 🍻🥧 They tucked into a delicious pie and a pint, read through the race cards and loved watching the horses in action. 🐎💫

Everyone had a wonderful time soaking up the atmosphere and watching the races - it was smiles all around! 😄💖

Allt Y Mynydd residents had such a fun-filled day celebrating Chinese culture! 🇨🇳💛 They enjoyed tucking into a delicious meal of chow mein and breaded lemon chicken, and even had a go at using chopsticks - with lots of laughter along the way! 🍜😄

To finish, everyone loved opening their fortune cookies and reading their fortunes aloud... a perfect way to end a lovely themed day! 🥠✨
