Residents enjoyed a lovely visit from Carl Bryant’s Music for Health, singing along to familiar songs and joyfully waving their pom-poms. It was a warm and uplifting session filled with music, movement, and lots of happy moments 🎵😊

A big congratulations to Ellie for being our Employee of the Month for March! 🌟☺️ Ellie has become a highly valued member of our team, consistently treating residents with dignity, respect and compassion. Despite facing her own challenges, she remains dedicated and resilient, always striving to do her best. 🙌 Ellie regularly goes above and beyond to support the comfort and wellbeing of our residents, making a meaningful difference every single day. Alan and Lizzie enjoyed a wonderful visit to Blaenos House Nursing Home yesterday for a cheesecake competition! 🍰 They were treated to a lovely lunch of delicious cawl, kindly made by Dawn, before taking a relaxing walk around the beautiful gardens. On their journey, they even spotted lots of adorable lambs, which made the day extra special.
It was also heartwarming to see them make new friends with Irwin and Mair – a truly lovely visit all around! 😆

A little late, but very well deserved! Congratulations to Haroon, our Employee of the Month for February. 🌟 Haroon is a compassionate and caring team member who treats everyone with dignity and respect. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and his strong work ethic is appreciated by the whole team. 🙌 During the snow last month, Haroon went above and beyond by staying in the home to ensure consistent cover and continued care for our residents. Thank you, Haroon, for your dedication and commitment. 👏

Our recent visit from Animal Cwtch was a big hit with residents who loved meeting a wonderful range of animals, including snakes, owls, parrots, rabbits, and more. A truly memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved 🐍🦉

Some of our residents have been busy stuffing teddies, which sparked lovely conversations and memories about their childhood toys. Others enjoyed a relaxing spring colouring activity, creating their own bright and cheerful vase designs 🎨
