Amser trist a mae'n anodd ffeindio'r geiriau, ond ma'r byd ceffylau wedi colli dyn ceffylau heb ei ail, odd e'n deall ceffyl. Ffrind a cymydog da, bob amser yn barod i roi help llaw i unrhywun neu i ymuno a'r cymdethasu, clonc a joio bach o sbort! Roeddwn ni mor ffodus fod e mor barod i helpu a'i fod yn rhan allweddol o'r tim yma yn Talgrwn - amhrisiadwy!
Mi fyddwn ni a llawer o rhai arall yn gweld ise fe. Cysga'n dawel nawr yr hen ffrind.

The horse world lost a real horseman on Monday, a real horseman, an intuitive horseman. He was always ready to give anybody a helping hand or to join in the fun. We were so lucky to have him as part of the team here at Talgrwn. We, like so many others will miss him.💔

... and DOONBEG does it again! Congratulations to the winner of heat & Final at Talgarreg Sunday LITTLE RASCAL (Doonbeg CAN x Crazy Daisy / Whats Next US). Owned and trained by CHloe Wakefield and driven by her partner Gary O Grady.

No stranger to winning at Talgarreg, Little Rascal also won his ever first start at Talgarreg when he won his maiden there back in 2022. He's become a bit of a specialist on his home tracks in Ceredigion, as he's also previously clocked up wins at Lampeter (twice) and Tregaron at the May Spring meeting this year.

Little Rascal is a full brother of Cheeky Devil, multiple W&W winner including Lampeter Heat & Final and the Boughrood Gp2 Heat & Final.

Whilst Little Rascal was winning in West Wales, up in Haugh Field, Scotland CONN MAN (Doonbeg CAN x Ayr Pandemic/Daylon Alert CAN) gave it his best shot when finishing a close up second to Moneyhill in the Gp 2 STAGBI British Championship 4yo Colts/Geldings division.

Good old DOONBEG, not only did he sire more winners than any other stallion in GB and Ireland in 2022 AND 2023 AND 2024, he's got off to a great start again in 2025 which includes siring 3 of the 6 winners at Presteigne today!

Congratulations to all the connections of RUSH ON DOON, BROOKLYN DODGER and DOON VALLEY and wishing you the best of luck for the remainder of the season!
