Our Child Drowning Update revealed that 25 of the 35 children that drowned in the bath were under 5 years old, including 10 infants less than one year old 😞
In the last month, 59% of parents left their child unattended in the bath, even just for a moment. Please remember that babies and toddlers can be slippery when soapy, meaning that they can easily slip under the water (even in a bath seat). Constant adult supervision is vital to keep your little ones safe. Always keep young children within arms reach.
