One week today we will be taking part in the wonderful Wellness Market in Pendle where we will have all matter of wonderful new crystals that you have never seen, as well as all new witchy hanging decorations and statues too. If however you cannot make it to Pendle next Sunday, 3rd August and would like to purchase from our new stock supply photos, please get in touch as we are happy to ship out across the uk, or even deliver locally. If you see something you like, please drop us a message and we will sort out items for you, and can even do personalised video shopping over WhatsApp to get a better look at our crystals before you purchase.

Hello my lovelies - have you missed me?
We are super excited to have our first event booked in for Pendle - Home to the Pendle Witches and somewhere I feel very much a sense of home and belonging whenever I visit - on Sunday 3rd August. Entrance to the Wellness Market is free along with the tea rooms, but there are a whole host of other classes and timetabled events on throughout the day including yoga, Pilates, foraging classes and more.

If you fancy having a day out, and a trip up the Pendle Hills one weekend, why not pop in and say hello, mark it in your calendar as we have some STUNNING new raw crystals for you and more to show you.

Hello one and all.

We are blessed with a beautiful and exceptionally hot weekend on our hands just now. I am sure everyone will be enjoying the sun and having bbqs and picnics - whatever you are doing this weekend please remember to stay safe in the sun and stay hydrated too. If you take any form of medication, its always worth knowing how they react with being in extreme heat and sun exposure. If like me you take an SSRI medication please be very careful and remain in the shade and hydrated as much as possible as heat stroke can be very serious.

Now, with my public safety message out of the way, this is my last weekend in the shop space on Lytham Road. As you may know I posted recently about the closure of the shop and that I need to take some time for my health as I have been focusing on my mental health but my physical health has suffered as a result. This is not the end however, we are still existing, but just in a different format, both on online sales here on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Vinted, and also travelling to various fairs and events both locally and further afield. We have already started filling up our diary with events where you will find us, as well as Tarot By Kaiden and Nails by Holly as we come as a package deal these days!

We will be open today from 10am till 6pm, and also 10am till 4pm tomorrow (Sunday) as a one off before closing at the end of this week.

To all my followers and supporters over the last 10 months

First and foremost I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you have given to me and everyone involved in my little shop Dark Therapy over the last 10 months. At times, I didn't expect to survive past Christmas let alone into summer with how the current climate is. It is however, with a very heavy heart, that I have taken the difficult decision to close the retail shop due to my health.

I wanted to open the shop to help with my mental health issues. As many of you will know, I am disabled and had been more or less house bound for the last 4 years and it was causing me to climb the walls. The shop was a much needed escape, but what I came to realise was that I was also in a domestic abuse relationship. Over the last few months I have been starting to rebuild my life behind the scenes since my ex has been removed from my life. Though I do have a wonderful support network of friends and my son, Nathan, who have been supporting me through all this turmoil, it has taken a huge hit on my physical health as well as my mental health and I am finding myself having to take more days off to compensate as a result. With this in mind I have decided to close the retail shop space of Dark Therapy at present so I can focus on putting my life back together and get stronger.

However, this does not mean the end for Dark Therapy, we are looking to take the shop on the road to various craft fairs, mind body and spirit shows and events both here locally and around the country when we can. We will also focus on online sales via Vinted and Facebook marketplace too, with postage free with purchases over £30 on certain platforms. Moon group will also not be getting cancelled, we will find a new location to have our meeting in once a month where everyone is welcome to attend. This way I can get the best of both worlds, I can trade with the shop when I want and also rest as much as needed to recover.

Our last day for trading in the shop will be Saturday 12th July 2025 so please make sure that you come in to get any crystals, herbs, incense, and homeware before then if you wish to purchase in store. Moon group will go ahead as planned on Thursday 10th July at 7pm, everyone welcome.

Please Note - we will be opening later than normal tomorrow, Thursday 2nd July, at around 2.30pm. We will be staying open till 8pm as normal so you can still pop in and see us, shop with us or come in to see Tarot By Kaiden too.

Good morning beautiful people, how are we coping with this humidity at the moment? What we need is a good thunder storm, and that would be the perfect excuse to make powerful storm water. Like moon water, storm water can be used to cleanse crystals and clean your home. It can also be used in spell work for a more powerful punch. It is suggested that you boil storm water, due to it being rain water, and make sure your sterilise your containers and cleanse with incense before doing any spell work.

Pinch punch, rabbit rabbit, another month has passed and we are into July.
July 1st, falls between the Wheel of the Year celebrations of Litha (Summer Solstice) and Lammas/Lughnasadh (first harvest). It's a period of growth and abundance for many. We have new Gaia statues in, perfect for your altar space or to be placed in your home, to give thanks to Mother Earth and the beautiful gifts that they provide for us. Why not come on in and have a look at our new items and also see Tarot By Kaiden and their new tarot spreads for July which have just been created today.

Hello everyone, its Thursday so that means we are here until 8pm tonight as we always are on a Thursday for late night shopping. Tarot By Kaiden is also here and ready to take in any walk in customers for tarot readings and will have some availability on both Friday and Saturday too. If you would like to book a place in advance you will get a free mini scoop for doing so by placing a £5 deposit for any tarot reading in advance.
