There’s a point people get to before they come to me - it’s not loud, it’s not dramatic - it’s actually really quiet. But not in a peaceful way 😟
It sounds like:
“I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
“I don’t trust my own decisions.”
“I don’t even know where to start.”
Confidence isn’t just low - it feels shaky.
You’re second guessing things you used to do naturally.
You feel on edge for no obvious reason, or completely drained even when you’ve “done nothing”.
And underneath it all, there’s this feeling you can’t quite explain…
like you’ve lost sight of who you are.
So you try to push forward harder.
You tell yourself to get on with it.
To be positive.
To just start.
But something doesn’t click.
Because this isn’t just in your head.
When you’ve been through emotionally difficult experiences - especially where your confidence has been chipped away or your sense of safety has been affected - your body doesn’t just forget that.
You can understand everything logically…
and still feel stuck.
Still feel disconnected.
Still feel unsure what’s next.
That’s usually when people find me - not because they’re broken - but because they’re tired of feeling like they’ve lost themselves and don’t know how to get back.
A recent message I received said, “My confidence is non existent and my anxiety fluctuates.”
I’ll soon be starting sessions with her - because this isn’t something you “push through”… it’s something you work through, properly, so it actually changes.
