😂 Friday at Care Legacy… 😂

It might be Friday, but let’s be honest — care doesn’t stop just because the calendar says so 😅

While some people are thinking about takeaway nights and pyjamas, our Care Legacy legends are still out there doing what they do best 💚

Early starts, late finishes, full hearts and the occasional “can you just…” — all in a day’s work.

😂 You really couldn’t make this job up… 😂

Last night, during what started as a very sensible conversation about children’s names, one of our lovely clients casually said:
“I went to school with someone called F***y Aiery… and her brother was called W***y Aiery.”
At that point, all professionalism was temporarily abandoned and I completely cracked up laughing 🤣
She did too — which somehow made it even worse.

It’s these unexpected stories, shared laughs and completely unfiltered moments that remind me why we love what we do ❤️
Care is about connection… and occasionally laughing until your sides hurt 😅

💐 Happy Retirement, Sheila! 💐
Yesterday was Sheila's last day with us. Sheila, a much-loved member of our Care Legacy support team.

Sheila has given so much care, kindness and dedication over the years, and her warm smile (just like in this photo 💖) has brightened the days of our client Miss I and her colleagues alike. She has truly made a difference, and her hard work and compassion will never be forgotten.

Sheila, we wish you a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, laughter and lots of time to enjoy life — you’ve more than earned it ✨

We’re on the lookout for female Home Care Support Workers to cover 2 established care runs in Kendal — supporting lovely clients who prefer female staff only 💜
(Genuine Occupational Requirement applies).

If you’re caring, reliable, and don’t mind a bit of driving with good tunes on 🚗🎶 — this could be the perfect role for you!

🕒 Shifts Available

✅ Morning run: 7:30am – 2:00pm
✅ Evening run: 4:00pm – up to 10:00pm (latest)
✨ Full-time & part-time available

💷 What’s in it for you?

💜 £13.00 per hour
🚗 Paid travel time between calls
⛽ Mileage paid at 45p per mile
🏖️ Holiday pay
🔐 DBS check carried out & PAID for by us
