Are you struggling with overthinking?
When we are overthinking the mind goes into an unsafe place. The solution is primarily to calm the mind. This is because it is difficult to think our way out of a problem.
To go outside and move the body, leaving the phone switched off, looking around, breathing in the fresh air, swinging our arms is a good method to clear the mind. This allows us to move from an unsafe place in the mind to a safe place where we can be solution focused. When we are overthinking, the case may be that we are problem focused. And when the mind is calm, we are able to become solution focused once again.
