Tuesday’s are all about creating bespoke programs for young people that need support . We create a youth led environment to give opportunities to be heard , to choose where they would like the session to go and discover new skills. Our approach is always observing and following play cues so young people get to follow their instincts and curiosity.

Today was firelighting, preparing kindling and cooking on the fire . We managed to squeeze in a game of Archery as-well.

Here’s a flower for you all , with its many petals as I can’t begin to post all the women I know , that inspire me . Without thanking the men also .
I am blessed to have many beautiful, courageous , hard working and loving people in my life who have taught me so much about being a mother, carer, sister, elder,lover and how to be in service to my community .

However I’m perplexed that the theme on IWD website “Give to Gain” encouraging women to pose with outstretched hands, some how it is not sitting comfortable this year with me !
We give from our hearts with love , we give unconditionally , we give every single day in one way or another , if we do it from a place of gain or are being asked to portray that image , gosh this does feel loaded somehow.
So to all women and men out there thank you for what ever you give in what ever way you can . Are we not at a time where we should honour and value all and everyday.

Young people when given the opportunity to explore a safe space respond so well to the magic of plants . Today I worked one to one with a young girl who is finding life a challenge , she wanted to make Rosemary Balm , practice Yoga and experiment with essential oil smells and how they make us feel . All led by the young people , chosen by the young people and opening up beautiful conversations . They just need our time,
understanding and wisdom 🌱🌱

The joys and wonders of nature , it’s cold, grey and moody out there but young people found fun, curiosity and ghost stories as we explored our first green space in Lancaster . We found a great tree to hang out with. Jupiter was out in the sky and we ventured down a slippy banking to a great price of graffiti under the bridge.
We even did a little spring bulb bomb on route . Nature is always there and our young people took some really moody photos and embraced the first day of February .

Walk about and talk about in nature is a great way to connect .

Imbolc blessings my friends . Slowly and gently the light returns and Bridget ignites our very being from our sleepy slumber of winter .
A beautiful walk with the little sisters of the snow in Hornby . Sparks of new ideas simmering beneath the surface …. 🔥
