exploring the rural community this week . Our Time to Breathe group went to see another land based project . We learnt about Michelle’s landscape and her project on the salt marsh . As we landed there was a plane taking as it’s next to a parachute centre which was very exciting !
Tbd group made pizzas, campfire bananas and they made Damson cordial .

I have had the best day supporting the Children’s Festival with . The weather was perfect and I enjoyed storytelling in the yurt with sound . The children loved the story of Grandmother Oak and the beast of Bowland .
Thank you every one that came along, and a massive thank you to and team for bringing together such a wonderful day for young people with additional needs .🌟🌟🌟

It’s been another busy week here centre . From young people to the older generation, all on some level impacted by the changes in the world but all sharing through creativity and building friendships , exploring new things . Community is beyond your doorstep, street or local area it’s comes from within . People need people ! This group stayed together and continue to stay independent doing great work for Kirkham , they broke free from funding dictators and are completely smashing it ! They are an inspiration and meet every week with up to 11 participants . They continue to support each other and always make me feel very welcome & happy that I stood by them over the last few years ❤️❤️

Our Story

The Ayurveda Apothecary is nestled in Lancashire at the heart of the Trough of Bowland . We are a beautiful retreat centre know as The Gathering Fields. Most of our products available in our online shop are hand crafted and created with love from our wild flower meadow. The meadow is an ongoing conservation project known as The Green Recovery Project that is re establishing native wild flowers in Lancashire. The centre offers a variety of residential and day workshops in Flower Essences, Yoga and Ayurvedic. We host Retreats in our rustic glamping barn and welcome small groups to work from our centre or you may want to camp in our nearly wild camp field. Therapies in Ayurveda, Flower Essences and Sound Healing are available .We love to host local community groups and have plenty of woodlands and rivers to explore. You can hire our venue, or join a workshop, or simply bring your family and friends to stay with us.
