Hi peeps

Please join us on Wednesday 3 November from 6.30 - 7.15 pm for a Yoga fundraiser in aid of the Makande Resource Centre in Ngabu. Ngabu is a small town in the region of Chikwawa, about 80 km from the major city of Blantyre, Malawi. (The town is known as the hottest place in Malawi!) The centre educates 20 blind and partially sighted children plus another 15 orphans who live at a different site, and about 80 more vulnerable children who attend a creche. It is run by the Pashello Trust, a locally organised charity.

Barbara's daughter's friend is working in Malawi at the moment and is involved with the school. She says:

"They are a tight community and have a wonderful sense of humour. Sadly, as their earning power is seen to be less than that of those who have full sight, they are often left until last when it comes to sharing resources - so they don't have as many clothes or as much food as others."

Your donations will be used to provide items such as blankets, jumpers (yes, it does get cold at night!), toys and even building materials. Recently there has been a drive to celebrate every child's birthday; if the centre was able to buy toys for every children it would be wonderful.

We are asking for donations (suggest £5) from all who attend the class or who would like a link to the recording of the class and all the donations will be sent to the centre as soon as possible.

Hi peeps

Well here we go again! Just when we thought we knew what we were doing! Anyway as the hall closes from Thursday onwards, here are our Yoga plans:

Monday and Wednesday's classes will go ahead as scheduled this week.
After this both of our weekly classes will be via Zoom and will be the same format as in the hall (even hopefully changing teacher half way through!)
Zoomed classes will be recorded and the link to each recorded class will be sent to all those who sign up for the class.
If you have booked classes for the hall, please let us know if you want to swap to Zoom or if you just wish to cancel.
If you make the change to Zoom of course there will be a partial refund.
We can make refunds via bank transfer (please give us your bank details), cheque (given to you in person at the class this week) or cash (at the class this week)
Please remember that you can drop in to any class if and when you feel like it (£5 per class)
We are considering whether to change the time of our Zoom classes to have them starting at 6.00 pm over this lockdown period. Please let us know by WEDNESDAY if you have any views on this either way.

Finally do look after yourselves.

Love to all

Barbara and Liz ###

Hi to All

We are so sorry to have to tell you that we are cancelling all our classes for the time being following the government advice yesterday. We are considering making some videos to put on our page so we'll let you know about these.

We will keep you informed about what's happening once we have a clearer
idea, but let us know if you have any questions.

In the meantime, stay safe and do try to do a little practice of your own.

Namaste ❤️❤️
