Person Centred Counselling is a non-diagnostic approach which offers a supportive empathic environment in which the person can safely explore their feelings and experiences without judgement or advice.
Counselling is a collaborative effort between a counsellor and client. Counsellors help clients identify personal goals and potential solutions to problems that cause emotional turmoil or pain. The aim is to improve personal communication and coping skills and make constructive life changes.Counselling can support you at a difficult time, give you the opportunity to talk about something that may be bothering you and help you to find ways through it. Counselling can help you to look more clearly at your life and manage emotional or mental health difficulties..
What does it involve?
Meeting with a trained counsellor once a week or fortnightly, in a neutral confidential setting to talk about something that is bothering you.

reduce feelings of isolation, alleviate personal distress, help to improve relationships, build confidence and self esteem, encourage creativity, increase personal effectiveness
