“Vic… my lips look puffy and undefined. My old practitioner added more filler to try to make them more defined, but now they look worse. Can you fix them and make them look natural again?”
I dissolve about 6 sets of lips a week… the cycle seems to be that people notice their lips start to look puffy or have lost definition, so their practitioner adds more filler. However, the answer is NEVER more filler. It’s often that the product has been placed in the wrong area, there’s too much volume, or it’s built up over time.
Here’s how I fix lips;
- Full assessment and plan
- Dissolve the old filler fully
- Allow the tissue to settle fully
- Then refilled subtly to restore shape and definition (not just volume)
