When a patient freaks out…

You’ve just had laser, and your skin ends up with red blotches. This is perfectly normal. A reaction like this to laser is called erythema and for some patients, their skin just reacts like this but it can in fact be a good sign that the laser has successfully targeted the hair follicles.

The redness will soon go down leaving smoother hair free skin.
