Skin cancer is one of the UK’s most common and fastest rising cancer. When it comes to skin lesions remember the ABCDE rule;

A is for Asymmetry - One half of the lesion doesn’t match the other side.

B is for Border - The edges are irregular, ragged, notched, or blurred. Normal moles are round or oval.

C is for Colour - The lesion has varying colours from one area to the next. Normal moles are evenly coloured.

D is for Diameter - The lesion is larger than 6mm across.

E is for Evolving - The lesion is changing in size, shape or colour.

You might have seen some more changes in the Beyoo clinic recently, and it’s all looking amazing!

We have a brand new reception area upstairs in clinic bringing a bit of luxury to your check in experience. Our new receptionist Jane is on hand to greet you and we have a snazzy new coffee machine too!

Things have changed a little bit behind the scenes too and you may have noticed that Jane has now taken over from Andrea on the Beyoo phone bookings.

For the past year, Victoria and Andrea have been working hard to set up new systems, and make things flow so that your patient experience is constantly improving and evolving. Andrea, whilst not on the bookings line, is still very much a key part of Beyoo working closely with Victoria on our marketing and business side of things and we have some very exciting things in the pipeline! We can’t wait to share more with you soon!!
