ELF Is at longlands child development centre exploring the waiting Area. He has joined in the More than Words session.

More than Words is a Hanen program that some parents are invited to attend for their child.
More than Words is a Hanen Program for parents of young autistic children or young children who may benefit from social communication support.
Here is what Hanen say:
"Research shows that parents can have a big impact on their child’s social communication development by making the most of the everyday routines and interactions they already have with their child. At a More Than Words Program, you start by learning how to understand your child’s communication better and how to identify the things that interest them. You then learn how to use that knowledge during everyday moments with your child to encourage longer interactions, support your child’s understanding and social communication, and help both you and your child have more fun together"

Donations from community staff at Ashton Community Care Centre, Longlands Child Development Centre, Carnforth Clinic, Queen Victoria Centre Morecambe & Heysham Primary Care Centre.
