Another of my objectives for this year, is say *yes* to opportunities!

So when the Dream Coach Match team reached out asking for moderators for the Personal Development Summit, I said yes!

I started yesterday and got to meet 4 coaches and see their workshops as I supported them by moderating the chat and other techy bits.

Today, I get the privilege of joining Tom LeNoble, Ken Honda and Dr Rikki Mullen as they host their workshops :D

This opportunity has meant:
- Meeting new coaches and hearing about their work
- Speaking to large groups of participants
- Getting to chat to Yuri Minski, founder of Dream Coach Match
- Testing my Zoom moderating skills

= meeting my goal of getting outside of my comfort zone doing public speaking and also increasing awareness of my work 🙌

If you're reading this, this is your sign - take the opportunity - you never know what might come from it! 😁

Today’s reel = me actually remembering to press record before starting my mindfulness session! 🙌

This is your reminder that mindfulness doesn’t have to be sitting silently while saying, ommmm 🧘‍♀️
It just has to be yours.

No fancy setup.
No hour-long meditation.
Just a moment where you tell your nervous system: “You’re safe. You can switch off now.”

If you’ve been thinking “I should do mindfulness but I never get round to it”- this is your sign.

Start messy. Start small. Just start 💗

What does mindfulness look like for you today?

Why Stepping In Matters – Part 4

Helping doesn’t mean confrontation.
It can mean staying nearby, checking in, or calling for help.

This series is shared to encourage awareness and compassion - because sometimes being seen is what keeps someone safe.

Trauma isn’t about being “too sensitive” or unable to cope.
It’s about what happens in the body when danger doesn’t stop.

Our nervous system is designed to protect us. In short-term danger, it activates (fight, flight or freeze) and then resets once safety returns - breathing slows, the heart rate settles, and the body calms.

But in ongoing situations such as domestic abuse or chronic emotional threat, that reset doesn’t happen.

Instead, the body stays on high alert.
Hyper-vigilant. On edge. Walking on eggshells.

Even after leaving the situation, psychological safety doesn’t come instantly - something many people don’t understand.

In this short video, I explain how trauma forms in the nervous system, why it persists, and why healing takes time.

Why Stepping In Matters – Part 3

Fear is understandable.
Getting involved can feel uncomfortable or risky.

But hesitation in moments like these can leave someone feeling completely alone - and vulnerable to what comes next.

What a great day for meeting lots of new people 🥳

This series isn’t about blame.

It’s about awareness, courage, and understanding how small moments can have lasting consequences.

When someone looks frightened or controlled in public, what happens next can change everything.

Why Stepping In Matters – Part 1

This is the first part of a short series about why public moments matter when someone looks unsafe.

Abuse doesn’t always begin behind closed doors - it often shows itself in public too.

Those moments can be warning signs, and sometimes the only opportunity for intervention.
