๐ซ The time has come to return to school and this can bring an abundance of emotions for our young people ๐๐๐จ๐ฅฐโน๐คจ๐คฉ
If its your first day of high school or primary school this can be daunting. Here are some top tips to help you manage those strange emotions that will come up -
Organisation - give yourself plenty of time, pack your bag and get everything you need ready the night before. Plan your journey, bus or walking route to relieve stress โฐ๐ด๐๐๐ถโโ๏ธ
Sleep - practice a good sleep hygiene routine. Take any distractions out of your room and use calm time to chill out before bed ๐ด
Diet and fluid- keep hydrated throughout the day. Have breakfast to fuel your body and mind, or even a small snack. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅค
Self care - take warm showers or baths using strong smelling products to ignite or relax your senses ๐ฟ๐
Allocate some chill and relax time to ease your mind. This could be playing a game, listening to your favourite music, playing an instrument, watching a film, taking part in your favourite hobby or club or just doing something you love like skin or haircare ๐โโ๏ธ๐ง๐ต๐ฌ๐บ๐ทโฝ๏ธ๐๐พ๐ณ๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐จ๐งถ

Be kind - not only do you need to be kind to yourself but to others also. Everyone who is at school will feel a certain way some more than others. A friendly smile goes a long way. Who knows it could be the start of a fantastic new future ๐
Most of all have fun, enjoy your first week, share how you feel with a trusted adult at home, in school or anywhere. If you are struggling there is help.
If you need to speak to someone reach out and share the load -
