Well folks I know we’re a week early but Christmas has arrived at Masons!
We’ve added our traditional nativity with Uber the donkey, then also Santa has actually landed in his helicopter! Yes folks a helicopter! It’s named Budgie
We’ve a pink tree but I’m sure you’ll spot those naughty reindeer about plotting something because they’ve been made redundant by budgie the helicopter.

Today we did a beautiful funeral at Beetham Cremetaurium this young lady traveled in a wicker casket from Ecoffins Now the sign we were asked to place on show beside her was actually purchased in Spain & was on show at the front of her house.
At first glance you may think it’s a place in wales as I did.
I was then told to read it backwards?
What a fabulous sense of humour this lady had we’d have got on so well together! X

Today is Lizzy’s last day working at J Mason and Son!

She is spreading her wings and moving on to her dream role as an Embalmer which she is still working so hard to achieve on her Embalming course.

It’s hard to say goodbye as a mother and daughter duo in the funeral world but Jane is so proud of Lizzy’s achievements and has been so supportive of Lizzy’s decision to do so.

J Mason and Son Funeral Directors

We have been established since 1914 providing funeral services for the people of Lancaster, Morecambe and the surrounding areas. We show compassion and care to our families and do our best to provide whatever they require for a funeral service, be it burial, cremation, green burial or a burial of ashes. We have a fleet of traditional funeral cars but if you are looking for something different we can also offer alternatives such as a Horse and Carriage Hearse, a Motorbike and sidecar hearse and even the Only Fools and Horses famous Reliant Robin as a hearse. Our premises includes a chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one and also comfortable arrangement rooms. We are on call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week should we need to be contacted regarding any services that may be required from us.
