Sara - My WW Journey with Debra Y

After years of yo-yo dieting, I had almost given up on finding something that truly worked,then I saw a photo of myself at a Christmas do & it was the turning point. With my 50th birthday approaching, I decided it was time for change — time to feel like me again.

Joining WW was the best decision I could have made. The support I received from my amazing coach Debra Y & the class community was exactly what I needed. Debra's encouragement, practical tips, & the genuine friendships formed in class made all the difference. It wasn’t just about the scales — it was about learning how to build new, healthier habits that actually stuck.

With that support & structure, I reached my goal in around nine months. I felt healthier, lighter & more energised than I had in years. Aches & digestive issues I thought were just part of getting older vanished & I felt brilliant.

But then COVID hit & like many others, I lost that regular connection & accountability. Without the weekly check-ins &friendly faces, old habits slowly crept back in, and so did the weight.

Now, I’m back — and back on track. I’ve reconnected with the WW community, and I’m once again working my way toward my goal. It feels good to be part of the classes again — like catching up with friends who are on the same journey.

WW isn’t a diet. It’s a lifestyle, a support system & a place where you learn how to take care of yourself for the long term. Debra Y has been a constant, positive presence & I truly believe her support was key to my success — and my return.
