✨ A little life reflection today… ✨

Today marks my last day working for TNT Sports after four years.

I’m feeling a mixture of gratitude, excitement and reflection. Over the years I’ve always held onto what I called my “bread and butter jobs” — the sensible part of me saying “you can’t take that leap financially.”

But sometimes life gently nudges you (and sometimes pushes you!) towards what your heart truly wants to do.

Now it feels like the right time to put my heart and soul fully into Roots Corporate Wellness and Roots of Life Events — the work that truly lights me up and helps people connect, heal and grow.

If I’m honest, part of me wishes I’d taken this leap sooner… but hey ho, life unfolds exactly when it’s meant to. And I still feel like I have many wonderful working years ahead of me doing something I’m truly passionate about.

As one door closes, so many other doors begin to open.

Here’s to new chapters, trusting the journey, and following your soul’s purpose.

Hello March – My Favourite Month 🌼

You arrive with gentle light,
Stretching out the dusky evenings,
Softening winter’s bite.

The nights grow lighter, brighter still,
As daylight starts to sing,
And in the hedgerows, fields and trees,
We feel the breath of spring.

The birds are busy, nesting high,
With hope in every wing,
While daffodils in golden rows
Their sunny faces bring.

Across the hills, the lambs at play
Leap fearless in the fields,
A promise of new life and joy
That only March can yield.

And this year feels more sacred still
A milestone wrapped in grace,
My 60th birthday blossoming
In nature’s warm embrace.

New opportunities unfold
Like petals to the sun,
A season turning, softly whispering,
Your next chapter’s just begun.

So hello March, my heart is full,
With gratitude and cheer
For light, for growth, for all that’s new,
My favourite time of year. 🌿✨

It feels exciting… and if I’m honest, a little bit scary too.

But I know I’ve outgrown playing small. I know the direction I’m moving in. And I know the impact this work can make in workplaces, in communities, in people’s lives.

There comes a point where you either keep dipping a toe in…

Or you step all the way in.
