The catwalk was a great hit today. Loads of clapping cheering and laughter. Thanks to the carers that joined in. The only rule they had was to make a outfit out of objects around the home. Well done to everyone so far this week you are all really smashing it.

What a great day we had. It was wacky day today the home was filled with smiles laughter and lots of fun. Day 2 we smashed our target well done everyone. Lots of talk already about tomorrow's fashion show (can only dress in things from around the home) good luck to the carers the residents are really looking forward to voting

We enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of bingo with lots of laughs, friendly competition and a few very happy winners 🏆

A firm favourite that always brings everyone together. Who will be shouting “Bingo!” next time? 😊

Yesterday we had a fantastic time celebrating Lunar New Year and welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse 🐎🔥

Residents enjoyed a lively talk about the traditions surrounding this celebration, followed by watching some of the amazing festivities from around the world 🧧🎉 We also shared some fun facts about the zodiac and what the Fire Horse symbolises for the year ahead.

Everyone tucked into some delicious Chinese food, and for pudding we could not forget about Pancake Day 🥞✨

Shrove Tuesday marks the day before Lent begins and was a time to use up ingredients like eggs, milk and sugar. Our residents were very happy to keep that tasty tradition alive!

A wonderful afternoon of learning, laughter, great food and community spirit.

❤️ We Appreciate You Day ❤️

Today at Drumconner Lancing we celebrated Valentine’s with our very own 'We Appreciate You Day' ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a special lunch with highlights including stuffed chicken wrapped in pancetta and roasted salmon topped with king prawns, followed by sweet treats like amaretto cheesecake and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Professional dancers joined us and filled the home with music and energy, and our residents loved getting involved, clapping along, and even taking to the floor themselves!

A wonderful day full of appreciation, laughter and togetherness 💕

🎉 Happy 100th Birthday to our wonderful Alma 🎉

Today, we celebrated an incredible milestone as Alma turned 100 years young! Her lovely family came in to celebrate with her over a classic fish and chips lunch, followed by birthday cake 🍰

We were also delighted to gift Alma a cosy blanket, which you can spot in the photos.
