This is a 45 minute massage Followed with Lymphatic Drainage around the face and neck, which is great for sinuses, headaches, sluggish feeling and just getting everything moving and flowing. Its also deeply relaxing and very gentle 😌

I currently have a client with a rotator cuff injury. When she came in last week we did a consultation and checked the range of motion of her neck, arm and shoulder. At this point my client could not look down as she had been advised to wear a sling and immobilise her arm which was affecting her neck now too. She could not do everyday tasks like putting her hair up, doing her bra up, getting dressed without a lot of pain. This is an active gym going person. Now she wasn't going to the gym or to work.
SESSION 1
The aim here was to firstly establish trust as this was painful and her mind and body wanted to guard the affected area. We did myofascial stretching, hot stones work and gently worked around the area paying specific attention to the neck.
At the end of session 1 the client has mobility back in her neck and can lift her arms forward above her head.
SESSION 2
Now we have a trust and positive starting point we can do some deep trigger point therapy targeting the specific muscle causing the restrictions of movement. We also added some infrared Light to this session to reduce inflammation.
At the end of session 2 the client can put her hair up with both arms and her range of motion has dramatically improved.
Session 3 is next week 🙌 so generally within 3-6 weekly sessions we can have major improvement using the Jing advanced clinical massage method.
