This is Lucy, she has been one of most inspiring, courageous clients I’ve ever had. I’ve had the pleasure of treating Lucy every Tuesday for the past 7 years. I’ve learnt more from her and her fearless mum Carrie in that time than I ever thought possible. It’s been humbling and an absolute honour. I will miss Lucy endlessly 💔
Madrid you have our hearts. The care and love shown for Lucy over the last few days as she fell ill has been overwhelming.
It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I’m posting to tell you all that on Sunday night at 10.14pm Lucy decided enough was enough and checked out.
She became very poorly on Sunday afternoon having developed Sepsis. She knew it was her time to fly and she went with our blessing… in fact we told her she had a choice - fight or fly. We willed her to let go and I’m so proud of her for making the right choice. It was peaceful and beautiful - just like Lucy.
We flew back from Madrid today leaving behind broken hearts and strangers who have become family in a short space of time.
Lucy - to quote our favourite Taylor tune 🎵“I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you” 🎵 Now it’s time for us all to put down our weapons and rest.
I have NO idea how we are going to do life without you here but we will do our best to make you proud.
