Hello everyone- Just to let you know there are no yoga classes next week - week commencing 6th April but I am back the week after as normal. Have a lovely relaxing Easter hopefully with some sunshine too!

Esk Yoga Classes

Classes

Mondays :

“Light” Yoga : 12.15pm-1.15pm .

(A more gentle version of a regular Hatha yoga class)

Class price is £ 40 for 6 classes or £8 drop -in.

*Card Pass for 6 classes is to be used over a 12 week period *

Mixed Ability Yoga : 6.15pm-7.30pm.

(a regular Hatha Yoga class suitable for all levels of experience from

more experienced practitioners to those completely new to yoga).

Class price is £ 50 for 6 classes or £10 drop -in.

Both classes at The Studio, Maxwell Place, Langholm, DG13 0DX.

Tuesdays:

Live Online Class - Mixed Ability Yoga via Zoom - 7.30-8.30am.

£6 pay as you go (or if you prefer pay in blocks of 6 -£36)



Thursdays:

Gentle Years Yoga : 10.30-11.30am

(A chair based yoga class ideal for older adults or those with restricted movement).

Class price is £ 40 for 6 classes or £8 drop -in.

Hello - just to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to any of my classes and workshops throughout 2025 - I appreciate every single one of you and I hope you feel the better for it. Now it's time to wind down a little and spend time on yourself and those around you. Have a beautiful Christmas time everyone with my very best wishes for a wonderful year ahead.

White-Eyes

In winter
all the singing is in
the tops of the trees
where the wind-bird

with its white eyes
shoves and pushes
among the branches.
Like any of us

he wants to go to sleep,
but he's restless—
he has an idea,
and slowly it unfolds

from under his beating wings
as long as he stays awake.
But his big, round music, after all,
is too breathy to last.

So, it's over.
In the pine-crown
he makes his nest,
he's done all he can.

I don't know the name of this bird,
I only imagine his glittering beak
tucked in a white wing
while the clouds—

which he has summoned
from the north—
which he has taught
to be mild, and silent—

thicken, and begin to fall
into the world below
like stars, or the feathers
of some unimaginable bird

that loves us,
that is asleep now, and silent—
that has turned itself
into snow.

Hi Everyone
It’s fairly dreich out there but we have Thursday yoga to look forward to!

Our Gentle Years Yoga class is back tomorrow at the new time of 10.30am
in The Studio, Maxwell Place, Langholm DG13 0DX. Gentle Years Yoga is a chair based class - all welcome!

ALSO our online Zoom Hatha Yoga class recommences at 6.15pm (New time)… let me know if you want to come and I will send you the join info. Yoga from my mat to yours!

Hello Everyone,

I will be restarting classes next Monday 15th September.
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer with lots of sunny days and relaxation and are now ready to get back on the mats!

Dates as follows:
Mondays:
September 15th, 22nd, 29th.
October 6th,13th, 20th ( 27th no Yoga)
November 3rd,17th, 24th, (10th no Yoga)
December 1st, 8th,15th ( break for Christmas)

Thursday Gentle Years Yoga
September 18th, 25th
October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, ( 30th no Yoga)
November 6th,13th, 20th, 27th
December 4th,11th, 18th ( break for Christmas)

The zoom classes will be the same weeks as the classes above - we have a what’s app group for these zoom classes in the event of any changes - so please just let me know if you are interested, and I can add you to the group.
