🍑 Prone Glute Activation
If your glutes switch off, everything else has to work harder.

This is the simplest way to wake them up - no equipment, no standing, no excuses. Perfect for low-back pain, hip stability, rehab, and pre-training warm-ups.

How to do it:
1️⃣ Lie face-down with your forehead resting on your hands.
2️⃣ Gently brace your core so your pelvis doesn’t rock.
3️⃣ Keep the leg straight and lift it a few inches off the floor- slow and controlled.
4️⃣ Pause and actively squeeze your glute for 1–2 seconds.
5️⃣ Lower with control.
Aim for 10-15 reps per side, 2-3 rounds.

Top tip:
If you feel it in your lower back instead of your glute, lift less and focus on the squeeze, not the height. This drill is about quality, not kicking the ceiling.

Perfect for pre-workout warm-ups or rehab phases- this move teaches your glutes to fire properly before you run, lift, or train. Great for anyone who sits a lot (aka… most of us).

💁🏻‍♀️ How to do it:
1️⃣ Stand tall, hold onto a wall or chair for balance.
2️⃣ Slightly bend your supporting leg and engage your core.
3️⃣ Drive the working leg back and slightly out - think about pushing your heel to the wall behind you.
4️⃣ Pause for 1–2 seconds at the top, feel the squeeze in your glute.
5️⃣ Slowly return to start.

Bodyverse TOP TIP:
Keep your chest still — if you’re swinging your back, your glute’s off duty and your lower back’s doing overtime.
