If you’ve ever thought any of these, you’re definitely not the only one — they’re the most common myths I hear about starting a yoga practice.
Here’s the truth:
✨ You don’t need to touch your toes — yoga is about calming the mind, and movement is just one way we get there.
✨ You don’t need to know what you’re doing — in class I always encourage you to move at your own pace. If you’re “behind,” be behind. If you know what’s coming and want to flow ahead, be ahead. There’s no doing it wrong — it’s just about breathing and moving.
✨ You won’t be the only beginner — this block is designed for people starting fresh, with a friendly group right alongside you.
