We are now closed for the Festive season and will reopen 8.30am on Monday 5th January.

A triage service is available 2-4 on Christmas Eve. Please phone the practice for details.

On December 25th,26th,27th,28th, January 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, if you have a genuine dental emergency, please phone NHS 24 on 111.

We will be running by appointment, emergency clinics between the Stenhousemuir and Falkirk practices on December 29th,30th and 31st. Please phone between 9-9.30 for a morning appointment and 2-2:30 for an afternoon appointment.

The Stenhousemuir practice is open on the morning of 29th,30th and afternoon of the 31st.

We have a vacancy for a trainee dental nurse at our Stenhousemuir practice working 8:30-6pm Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and 8:30-5:30 pm Friday. You will be required to work towards an SVQ Level 3 qualification which will lead to registration with the GDC.
The ideal candidate should have four Nat 5 qualifications (or equivalent) including English.

Forth Valley Royal Hospital was affected by a brief power outage this afternoon, however power has been now restored to the site. There was a short period before the back-up generators came onstream, where contingency arrangements were required to be put in place across the site.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON Hospital Appointments – Friday 24 Jan 2025

Following the red weather warning, we have taken the decision to postpone outpatient clinics, diagnostic tests and scans at local hospitals on Friday 24 Jan 2025 and will aim to reschedule these as soon as possible.

Arrangements are being made for patients who are due to undergo surgery to attend earlier before the red alert comes into force. However, patients are being advised to follow the latest national guidance and do not take any risks travelling to local hospitals.

Arrangements have been made to carry out telephone consultations for a small number of clinics including vascular and neurology services, and patients affected will be contacted direct to advise them of these alternative arrangements.

All vaccination clinics due to take place on Fri 24 Jan have been cancelled and appointments will be rescheduled (vaccination clinics will run as normal on Saturday 25 Jan).

Essential maternity, community nursing and midwifery community visits will go ahead as planned and pregnant women should continue to contact their midwife or our maternity assessment centre if they have any questions or concerns.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however we want to ensure patients avoid the need to travel to local hospitals unless they absolutely have to.
