Haylie House has an excellent and deserved reputation for the high calibre and professionalism of its staff who offer the best possible quality of care delivered to an exacting standard in a warm and supporting environment for our residents. Whilst the property is owned by North Ayrshire Council, Haylie House is run by a professionally qualified management team who are overseen by a Board of Trustees drawn from local volunteers with a diverse background of experience and talent. The Trustees are all actively involved in the running of Haylie House and work closely with the staff to ensure that every aspect of the management and service quality meets the exacting standards demanded by the Scottish Commission for Regulatory Care . Regular inspections by the latter ensure that all aspects of safety and security are adhered to.

It's been another busy week here. Along with all the regular, much loved activities we did some special things too.
We made lavender bags and dried various herbs from our garden, we looked back at what schools were like when we were younger, and we learned about Japan, the Japanese customs and tried sushi and katsu chicken. We have had a lovely week.

This week we had two very special visitors to Haylie House - Therapets Lubo and Larson. Tasty Tuesday was also International Lemon Day and we had our regular activities including chair exercises, arts and crafts and facetime chats with relatives.
