Pro Care Ayrshire Limited is a local business which is fully registered with The Care Inspectorate to provide a care at home service to older adults within their own homes. Pro Care can provide care, support and assistance from as little as a one hour visit up to 24 hour packages. All of Pro Care’s employees go through a rigorous recruitment process and are registered with the PVG Scheme. Regular ongoing training is also provided to ensure high levels of personalised care is delivered at all times. Service Description

The aim of Pro Care Ayrshire is to provide a high quality of professional, reliable and individualised care at home services to the local elderly population. Assistance will be given to allow the client to live their lives to their maximum potential, and in a way that they have been previously accustomed to. Services provided can be a little assistance in some general housework, or meal preparation, running errands etc. or may include medication assistance, or help with personal care. Whatever the needs of the client, Pro Care Ayrshire will work with the individual to plan a tailored package to suit their needs, while at the same time, promoting independence, maintaining dignity, allowing choices, and giving respect at all times. We’re proud to launch SafeConnect in partnership with Police Scotland – a new safeguarding initiative to support people with dementia who may be at risk of going missing.

The SafeConnect fob is a small, yellow device that can be carried or attached to clothing. It holds secure emergency contact details and can be scanned with a smartphone using Near Field Communication (NFC) to help quickly reunite someone with their loved ones or carers.

After a successful pilot in Argyll & Bute and West Dunbartonshire, we're now rolling out SafeConnect fobs free of charge to anyone living with dementia across Scotland.

STAFF REQUIRED

Part time/Bank staff

We are currently looking to add to our team of dedicated support workers to give assistance and support to elderly clients in their own homes to help them maintain their independence for as long as possible.

Our clients are based in Fairlie, Largs and surrounding areas.

Experience and qualifications are desirable although not essential as full training will be given.

The role may involve

- Assisting with all personal care i.e. bathing, showering

- Medication prompting

- Meal preparations

- Shopping/social outings

- Light household duties etc

Applicants will be required to undergo a PVG check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
Own transport is desirable however some clients can be within walking distance.

We offer good rates of pay above the minimum wage starting at £13.00 per hour. Mileage payments, Health and wellbeing benefits for you and your family.
