Lately, life has felt… full. Really full. Which has lead to a feeling of overwhelm and I just don’t have much else to give right now. So my natural response is to retreat.

In this retreat I keep hearing the message:
‘simplify.’

I’ve noticed how easy it is to think we need more to feel better. More classes, more content, more healing, more things to keep up with. I was thinking about all the TV subscriptions I have and thought why on earth do I have so many, I don’t even have the time or capacity to watch all of this. Sound familiar?

It honestly just makes me want to switch off. Choice overwhelm is real these days. What I really need is less noise, less pressure and more space to actually hear my own thoughts.

I’ve transpired this essence into my membership which is intentionally simple. Just a couple of classes each month and one creative practice.

Not because I don’t have more to give but because I don’t think more is what we need. It’s the old cliche, less is more.

If your life already feels full, you’re allowed to choose less. You’re allowed to simplify. So that you can form a deeper connection with yourself.

India, you blew my heart wide open.

I left for India not knowing why I was going there other than I needed to go and that I’ll find out once I’m there. It was never a place on my bucket list but I kept hearing a voice in my head telling me I needed to go & I’ll find out why once I’m there. So off I went on a wee adventure to blow my heart and mind open.

Going on this trip was also a birthday gift to myself, I was craving an experience to expand and challenge my current perspectives, to pull me out of my bubble and to remind me of what life truly is about.

As you can see from the reel, the trip was rich with varying experiences, stimulating all my senses and really pulling myself out of myself, reminding me to be fully present. There is immense love to be felt in India, it seeps through the land, through the nature, the animals, the colours, the music, the food, the sounds, the chaos, it filters through the air (even if it makes you cough 😉) and most of all the people. You cannot go to India and not be changed by it.

It really has filled me with so much more vitality for life and immense appreciation for the knowledge and wisdom that has come from India.

Until next time … when I will undoubtedly return.

And a special shoutout to the multitalented Sasha for the enormous amount of work that went into this yoga adventure retreat and for all the love you poured into it and us 💚

There are two ways I can support you through Divya Prema:

1: Art Psychotherapy (1:1 work)
A therapeutic space to explore what you’re holding, emotionally, mentally, and in the body.
Where it feels supportive, we can also bring in elements of yoga, movement, breathwork and nervous system regulation to help you process and reconnect in a way that feels safe and embodied.

2: My Online Membership
A space for ongoing support through yoga classes, restorative practices, creative therapeutic activities and a nurturing online community.
This is for you if you’re wanting regular practices to help you slow down, soften, and stay connected to yourself in a way that fits into real life.

Both spaces offer different levels of support. If you’re not sure where to start, drop me a dm and we can chat it through.

In today’s world, many of us live in a state of constant “doing.” Work deadlines, family responsibilities, and the pressure to keep up often leave us running on empty. Over time, this can lead to burnout; a deep exhaustion of the body, mind, and spirit.

Restorative yoga offers something rare and vital: the invitation to pause, slow down and soften into stillness.

Today I held some wonderfully nourishing restorative yoga classes in collaboration with at . We cosied up around the fire in a yurt for a deeply relaxing yoga practise surrounding by the sounds of nature. The class was then followed by a sauna and cold dip session all surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Largs.

There will be more of these sessions coming up and so keep an eye out.
