Serving Larkhall with Dedication Since 1989

Henry Dorricott Funeral Directors has been a trusted name in Larkhall for over three decades, founded in September 1989 by Mr. Henry Dorricott — a man whose 58 years of experience in funeral care shaped the compassionate standards we uphold today.

From our premises on London Street, we continue his commitment to supporting families across Larkhall, Lesmahagow and Lanark with dignity, respect and personal attention. As part of the Dignity Funerals network, we offer traditional and modern services, a 120‑capacity service room, and 24‑hour support whenever families need us most.

Rooted in the community. Guided by experience. Dedicated to care.

It’s that time of year again — our Annual Easter Egg Appeal is back!
We’re collecting Easter egg donations to be distributed to local charities, nursing homes, nurseries and schools. Every year your generosity makes a huge difference across our community and we’re hoping to continue that success once again.
If you’d like to donate, Easter eggs can be handed in to Henry Dorricott’s in Larkhall, Lanark, or Lesmahagow. If it’s easier, you can also contact the office on 01698 882170 and we can arrange a collection.
Every donation, big or small, is truly appreciated — both by us and by those who receive them. Thank you for your continued support and kindness over the years. It really does mean a lot.

If you’re finding things difficult, reaching out for a conversation can be a powerful first step.

Talking about how we feel isn’t always easy, but even a simple chat can offer comfort, connection and support - especially on days when things feel heavier than usual.

This Time to Talk Day, we’re joining Mind in encouraging gentle, honest conversations about mental health. Checking in with ourselves, and with the people around us, can make a real difference - no matter how small the moment may seem.
