Today we said a very special goodbye to our amazing administrator, Tricia, as she finished her final day at Larne Care Centre. 💐

We celebrated with a lovely farewell party to thank Tricia for all of her hard work, dedication, kindness, and support over the years. She has been such an important part of the team and will be greatly missed by staff and residents.

Everyone at Larne Care Centre would like to wish Tricia a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement. We hope you enjoy every moment of being a lady of leisure — especially all those sea dips! 🌊💙

Meet the faces behind the care 💙

We thought as it is Nurses Week, this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce our incredible nursing team so you can put faces to the names! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️✨

A couple of our wonderful nurses are missing from the photos due to holidays and maternity leave, but they are very much part of our incredible team too and we look forward to introducing them on their return. 💙

I would like to say a big thank you to Theresa our fabulous deputy who goes over and beyond on a daily basis working along side myself and our wonderful team, striving to provide a high standard of care for our residents.

Theresa also manages our face book page keeping everyone updated with the going ons with in the home.

This International Nurses Day, we’re taking a trip down memory lane 💙👩‍⚕️

Some of our nurses shared photos from the very beginning of their nursing careers to the experienced, compassionate professionals they are today, each photo tells a story of dedication, resilience, and care.

Our nurses have also shared the reasons that inspired them to choose nursing — and the passion behind their journey still shines through today.

Even our manager Joanne knew from the age of 4 that nursing was her calling, after getting her very first nurse dress-up kit and stethoscope 🩺💙
