Great day competing at the Poseidon Invitational 24 with my Mother Thruster team mate 💪💃🕺🏋️
Was a good battle between the top 3 teams all day, finishing with a 3rd place overall out of a class of 17 teams..so not a bad result for a great day out 🥉🤩 Would have liked a few more pics mind you 😜

Busy few weekends of all things Crossfit 🤸🏋️🚣🥇

From my very first pre comp (Nabba toned) photo shoot to my last (IFBB Arnold Classic Body Fitness). This was no 6 or 8 week transformation....this took 4 years of consistent, hard training and focus and fine tuning of my nutrition.With most of my preps being 16-20 weeks long. Not to mention id been training since the late 90's. Before some of you were even born!
During these 4 years i competed in 12 body building competitions, regionals, British and finally the European Arnolds Classic which is the highest level of competition any amateur body building athlete can get to.
People often think adding muscle and sculpting your physique is a 6-12 month process, some thinking it can be done quicker. Well let me tell you its total bu****it and the closer you get to where you want to be, changes are miniscule and very slow. This can seem frustrating and very soul destroying for some and this is where they often give up. For me ive never feared hard work as nothing in life has come easy for me, ive always had to work for it! Once i have my mind set on something, that is it. Throughout those years I always kept a vision of how i wanted my physique to look and seeing myself on stage. I enjoyed every prep and every competition, highs and lows, and what i learned about my body and myself in that time was worth every bit and has helped me, without a doubt get to where I am now and has made me the person I am.
Anything is achievable with consistency, hard work and self belief. You must see it to achieve it 🤩

A few pics from our recent few days in the stunning Croatia 😍 Lots and lots of walking and a boat trip to three of the beautiful Elaphite Islands. Soo much to see and do and very difficult to fit into 4 days but that just means we will be back 😁👌❤️ Would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates gorgeous scenery, landscape and coastline and best way to enjoy it is by foot and by boat!

Another Birthday 🎉🍰💃4️⃣5️⃣

Something ive never feared is getting older. Age is just a number. In my head and heart im still 21 😜 Of course i look at photos 10, 20 years ago and see change, but im always greatful for another year and my health and what my body allows me to do. Learning new skills, staying strong and mobile and fuelling my body with what it needs will hopefully keep me going for many years to come.
A year older but no wiser 😉
Its all about the quality of our years, not the quantity.
We only have one body, so love it and take care of it and it will take care of you🤗♥️

Here I am 📸💃
A couple of weeks ago i did a photo shoot 😱
My first in over 7 years and the difference in this one to any other ive done in the past is i did ZERO prep for this. No dieting, no extra training, no fat burners or PED's,no cutting water...nothing!! Just added make up, fake tan and a few items of clothing 😉🤩
My aim was to showcase my everyday physique and give a more 'realistic' idea of how i look all year round 👀
For me this photo shoot was very much out of my comfort zone. Any time before ive always been shredded and a week or two out from stepping on stage. Stage lean physique is completely different from a fit, fully functional and healthy physique that allows us to train, work and live and that we can maintain longterm without going to any extremes.
The physique i have now has been earned from almost 30 years of consistent training and good, proper nutrition. Not by being genetically blessed or having a fast metabolism etc, just hard constant graft, day in day out, year after year. Obviously over the years my nutrition has got better through knowledge and experience and ive discovered what works for me. Training for me, along with being fit and healthy has always been about aesthetics, ive always admired fit, sculpted bodies and have always strived towards looking a certain way. Building muscle and creating a sculpted physique is a very long, slow process but once you get to where you want to be, maintaining is alot easier. It takes alot of hard work, discipline, patience (which doesn't come easy to me) and most of all CONSISTENCY!!
At 45 years old, almost 7 years of being perimenopausal, running two businesses, caring for my large 4 legged family of 5 and having a very busy active life, i always manage to prioritise my health and wellbeing. I can honestly say im happier in my own skin than ive ever been,not forgetting to mention being stronger and fitter than ever 💪❤️
I am grateful every day for my health and what my body allows me to do and this is what keeps me pushing on. No quick fixes, extreme transformations or fad training/nutrition protocols. Long-term, lasting results, educating clients and finding what works for them is what i am about 😊

Client progress 🤩 Only 4 weeks in and flying 💪

Very excited to work with this wonderful lady. Post menopausal and struggling to find her mojo with the proper nutrition and get a control of that midline hormonal weight gain 😬

Eating more than she has ever eaten, more energy and really enjoying her training again whilst dropping body fat 👌

This client, like many has always focused on the scales alone to track progress and always ended up disappointed and demotivated. Thinking that more cardio and eating less was always the answer 😔

Weight loss isnt the focus here. There is very little 'weight' to loose. Its all about improving body composition through change of mindset and finding the right foods and training to balance and support this for long term results 😍

Let’s talk fiber 💪🏼

Who doesn’t want a healthy digestion?

Did you know that whole (not peeled or blended)fruits and vegetables are the easiest way to get fibre in and bulk out meals. I recommend 7-10 portions of a good variety of fruit and veg per day

Also they are a good source of prebiotics , essential for gut health 😁
