“There’s No Such Thing as ‘Just Having a Bad Back’”
One thing I hear far too often is:
“I went to the doctor, had the X-rays and scans… they said everything looks fine. So I guess I just have a bad back. I take naproxen to keep it under control.”
Every time I hear that, it worries me—because most people aren’t born with back, hip, or knee issues.
If something was structurally wrong from birth, it would almost always be picked up early through the healthcare system.
So what’s really going on?
👉 In the majority of cases, the pain comes from weakness, imbalance, restriction or overload—something that CAN be assessed, addressed, and improved with the right treatment and guidance.
I spent years battling my own back issues. Years of frustration, flare-ups, and guessing.
But once I finally identified the real problem and started working on it properly, the issues disappeared.
Not by luck—because the root cause was being treated.
And here’s the thing:
💊 Medications like naproxen can help manage symptoms short-term…
but they don’t fix the underlying issue.
And they can be hard on your system, which is why people are often given stomach protectors at the same time. That alone tells you how powerful these drugs are.
Your body doesn’t produce pain for no reason.
Pain is communication.
Something needs attention.
And in most cases—especially with back pain—I can assess the issue, identify the weak link, and guide you through what needs to happen to improve it. Often it doesn’t take long at all.
On the rare occasion I feel something deeper is going on, I’ll always be honest and direct with you so you’re not wasting time or money—and so you can get the right next step immediately.
💬 If you’re living in pain and have been told “they found nothing,” don’t accept that as your answer.
Send me a message and I’ll help you figure out what’s really going on.
