Sagittarius 23rd -21st Dec is represented by Temperance, the 14th card of the Major Arcana. She is a winged angel with golden garments & curls falling round her beautiful face. She pours the essence of life from one urn in her left hand to another, which is held lower in her right hand. Behind the angel are hills & shrubbery indicating unlimited opportunity to those who are prepared to work for it. The urns symbolize the flowing of the past through into the present. Sagittarius, like the angel has self control & patience. They exhude confidence and are well thought of. The problem is that they are TOO temperate for their own good and seldom recognize in themselves the considerable talents and abilities that others so readily see and acknowledge (even if they don't say it aloud). This means that you need to be less moderate when going for a particular goal, as in the coming months there will be frustrations in accomplishing even simple things - so a lot of aggressiveness will need to be applied to gain some progress. This is not something that comes easy to you Sagittarius as you are modest in blowing your own trumpet - a thing that others (you know) have no problem in doing to promote themselves. In the lead up to the Christmas festivities try a different approach - the intellectual one won't get you anywhere, though it may have done so in the past year. Instead go for a more "hands on" attitude & let the archer in you aim high. Don't be surprised though if you encounter some hostility from others who were stealing your thunder behind your back. Know too that there is a fortunate surprise coming your way - probably via a person without excessive tendencies, who tends to be rather shy and unforthcoming. Good luck!

Scorpio 24th Oct - 22nd Nov is represented by Death, the 13th card of the Major Arcana. As described previously in my posts Death appears as a skeleton armed with a scythe clearing the ground around him. At his feet we see skulls, hands and bones of his victims. Also it is that unlucky number 13 which puts the hebbie jebbies up a lot of people. But death is simply doing his job, which is to remove the past (which none of us can alter anyway) & allow us to move through the future with the irrevocable sweep of the scythe. I actually know very few Scorpio subjects, but those I have had the pleasure to meet in the past have (like the death card) brought necessary change & have caused regeneration in the lives of those around them. Yes, they can be a bit scary as they mow through any objections that are put in the way of their plans, & they are not afraid to end a friendship if they find themselves becoming stagnant because of it. When they decide to make changes they do so abruptly, they will dump old ideas for the development of new expectations. They are very sexy individuals, they will reinvent themselves to keep things exciting in the bed department, but woe betide you if you are looking for a familiar & "secure" situation. They are the type of lover, or friend who you will have to buckle yourself in for and be prepared for the ride of a lifetime. Scorpio I have drawn a 2nd card from the Arthurian tarot deck on your behalf, it is Spear 6. It depicts a winding river and a ceremonial mound on which sticks a spear with the standard of victory, this means at last you will receive recognition & advancement in a sphere that has to now eluded you.

Libra 24th Sept - 23rd Oct is represented by Justice, the 8th Major Arcana card of the Tarot deck. As I described in a prior post Justice is a crowned female, seated between the pillars of positive & negative forces. She is Astraea, the goddess of Justice in Greek mythology. In one hand she holds a double edged sword, while in the other she holds the scales of justice - which we must remember can tip either way! Like Astraea, Libra subjects have vast reserves of moral strength & integrity. At times they may seem rather entrenched in their attitude because they do not permit tempetation or envy of others to misguide them. Their equilibrium & poise can lead others to believe they are standoffish, though nothing could be further from the truth. They are considerate and good natured, neither do they judge others severely. They would be excellent business partners, with an eye to the gap in the market, but not inclined to "dirty dealings" with anybody. At the moment Libra you need to give consideration to your personal desires as opposed to those things you are doing to keep others around you happy. I say this because I pulled a 2nd card from the deck on your behalf which was the 5 of Wands depicting unsatisfied desires and a struggle with your endeavors.
