It was wonderful to see so many people lining the streets and showing their support for the event 🤩

And thank you to the carnival committee and Launceston Town Council for organising, and all your efforts behind the scenes 👏🏻

A huge well done to Ryan Tozer - Launceston GOLF CLUB Junior Captain and his Mum & Dad (Nigel & Sarah), for organising such a successful and well supported event yesterday. A huge fundraising effort raising £4200.00 for Stroke Association South West, in memory of Ryan's late Grandmother, Mary.

It was a pleasure to play in your team Ryan, alongside John and Matt, with the added bonus of staying dry this time!! 🌞⛳️

As mentioned in our previous post, we will be hosting an afternoon tea to celebrate 10 years of Denise Wellington Funeral Services.

This is an open invitation. We welcome anyone who wishes to join us at Bude Methodist Church Hall on Thursday 25th September between 2pm - 4pm, for some light refreshments, including jam & cream scones, saffron cake, tea, coffee & fruit juice.

We're proud to be sponsoring Cornwall player Ben Hancock for his first season at Launceston Rugby Club after signing from Bude. Todays first league game against Topsham unfortunately ended in a 19 - 8 defeat.

However Ben received 'man of the match', so positives can be taken! We wish him all the best for the season and we look forward to seeing plenty of his explosive, physical rugby! 🏉💥
