We're very excited to be teaming up with The Ashgrove Clinic and will be offering wax removal appointments starting from next Wednesday!

Ear wax removal starts here next week. Our audiologist qualified over 10 years ago and has worked in both the NHS and private practice. She mostly uses microsuction, but can use water irrigation if necessary. She says she always uses what is best based on the patients history and ear anatomy!

🔊Are your ears feeling a bit blocked? It might be time you booked yourself an ear wax removal appointment. But what exactly is involved and how do you know if you need it? 👂

The most common symptoms of a wax build up include earache, itchy ears, muffled hearing, tinnitus and a feeling of fullness or discomfort in the ears.

⭐️Our expert audiologist will examine the ears with an otoscope and assess what type of wax removal method is best for you. The most common method used is something called microsuction, where a tiny vacuum tip is inserted into the ear canal and wax is carefully suctioned out of the ear. Microsuction is known for its safety and patient comfort, as well as being gentler on the ears than syringing.✅
