Laser Hair Removal Prep: 5 Things to Avoid (and Why!)

Getting ready for your treatment? Here are five important things to steer clear of—and the reasons why they matter:

Avoid sun exposure and tanning

Sun exposure increases skin sensitivity and the risk of burns or pigmentation issues during treatment.
No waxing, plucking, or tweezing

These methods remove the hair from the root, which the laser targets—so no root, no results!

Skip heavy exercise

Exercise increases body temperature and circulation, which can lead to irritation post-treatment.

Throwing it back to where it all began in 2017! ✨

In 2017 we launched our first 3D Aesthetics clinic in Leamington spa, which saw celebrity’s Chloe Goodman and Anthony Costa join us for our open event.

Did you know, that this was a full-circle moment for the team, as Founder of 3D Aesthetics, Roy Cowley, first started out his career in the Industry in this very same building in 1989 where he opened his very toning table studio 36 years ago!

Fast forward after a successful career in the beauty and aesthetics industry, being responsible for the launch of many well-known beauty brands to the UK market such as crystal clear and bio-therapeutic, Roy went on to launch his own non-surgical equipment brand, 3D-lipo Ltd.

Roy was proud to open the 3D Aesthetics clinic alongside his daughter Phoebe and Son-in-Law Zach, who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinics to date, and due to the success of our Leamington branch, have recently opened their second site in Knowle. Many of you will know Zach as the charismatic face of the business, whilst Phoebe is based at the 3D Aesthetics Head Offices, working behind-the-scenes to develop the brand.
