Children often respond to treatment far more quickly than adults
and with very satisfying results. Those of you who have children or work or care for children
will know that they usually function at a much faster
pace and do not have the patience to sit still, therefore
treatment is quick and I use the aids of puppets to
entertain the babies and children depending on their ages so it is
an en
joyable experience and not too boring. The needles I use are very fine indeed and the technique gentle,
sometimes there is no need to use needles and I will then turn ,
to Tuina which is a kind of gentle acupressure/massage which
also works remarkably well on children. Thirdly I may use moxa
which is a gentle warming treatment, all techniques used are
based on thousands of years of study and practice taken mainly
from China and other East/Asia ancient cultures which have
proven the test of time. The Children and adults alike are treated with utmost respect
and with individual diagnosis and attention as all human beings
are special and deserve that individual care .
