Peri oral lines- sometimes referred to as smokers lines but this is not necessarily true. They are formed by movement
This lovely lady desperately wanted to reduce the appearance of these. We used Teoxane RHA1 to ensure we still had dynamic movement.

IF ONLY!! 🤣 🤣curtesy of my daughter and face scanner TikTok.

Maybe as I’m carrying a bit of post Christmas weight - plumping up those facial cheek pads and fresh out a hot bath!

Hopefully helped by regular Profhilo for glowy skin and HA and I have recently had a new treatment called Structura, this is by the same company that make Profhilo, IBSA. It targets the facial fat pads and helps lift.
I’m having my second structura tomorrow so will let you know how it goes!

Why chose a medical professional for your treatments?

Aesthetics is still unregulated, so here’s a few reasons why you should research and chose wisely.

This week one of my lovely clients had a reaction 24 hours after Profhilo (skin boosters) a red itchy rash appeared on her neck, although we had only treated the face?

Firstly checked the product- all batch numbers and expiry dates are stored on each clients notes- purchased from a reputable supplier with the hologram ✅
No known allergies ✅
No viral infections or recent illness/ medications ✅
Rash checked - urticaria and as a result of treatment✅
Contacted Medical director of the Profhilo company✅
Antihistamine taken and due to level of rash I was able to prescribe a few days of prednisolone steroids to resolve quickly.
No being sent to GP for prescriptions or being left “it will resolve soon”
As a Nurse prescriber and experienced injector I will always provide follow up care and treatment if ever needed.

Cause identified as the aesthetic cream used on the skin post treatment🫣 both relieved it wasn’t the Profhilo!
Simple solution- we won’t use that cream again.

No practitioner is above potential complications- the difference is can they recognise them and treat them?
Know your injector and their limitations

Squeamish alert ‼️

Let’s go to Jamaica - we didn’t expect to be bringing back these little darlings!
So we decided on a bit of winter sun in beautiful Negril and came back with this…

Cutaneous Larva Migrans CLM - it started off as intense itching and small blister like bumps about a week after we returned. I initially thought it was the beginnings of a verruca, but how wrong I was?

CLM is a parasitic skin infection caused by the hook worm larvae that usually infest dogs and cats. We picked it up by walking barefoot in the sand or soil that had been in contact with dog or cat poo 🤮 the larvae can travel up to 2cm daily causing track lines and OMG it is so itchy!!! I’m eating piriton.

So what next?
Try and get an appointment with my GP for some antibiotics to kill then and reduce the chance of secondary infection due to the frantic scratching, or if I can’t get an appointment I will try and blast them with my cryopen- freeze the little buggers to death! Thankfully CLM is self limiting which means that as humans aren’t the preferred host, they can’t pe*****te the dermis so will eventually die by themselves. Another yuk!

So if you see me fidgeting in clinic you now know why! Don’t worry I’m not contagious…

I’m afraid I may post more pics as they progress or die!

New treatment coming soon!!

I’m always searching for that bit of magic🧚‍♀️ and think I may have found it in the form of Profhilo Structura.

Those that know me already know I do not offer treatments that I haven’t tried and tested! So I’m thrilled to be going on the training course and (off course) I’ve offered to model so I can experience the treatment.

So what is structura?

Structura provides a lipolifting effect by restoring adipose tissue and leading to deep firmness. The injections are administered via a cannula into the upper cheek region to enhance facial structure, treat midface hollows, laxity, and skin density.
Is the treatment painful? A topical anaesthetic cream is administered to both cannula sites before your procedure.
A course of two a month apart is recommended.
