⚠️ A vital safety net for carers is being removed.

From 31 March 2026, funding for the Emergency Care Planning service is ending.

For many unpaid carers, this is the only plan in place for what happens if they suddenly can’t provide care.

That means more uncertainty. More pressure. And more risk for families.

But we want carers to know this:

We will not leave you without support.

We’ve created a short video explaining what’s happening and what you can do next, including details of the new service we’ve launched to keep emergency support in place.
