A message from NHS Surrey about the Resident Doctors Strike:

Health leaders across Surrey are urging the public to use NHS services responsibly ahead of planned industrial action by resident doctors from Friday 25 to Wednesday 30 July 2025.

During this period, all local NHS services are expected to face additional pressures. We are asking the public for their support by using services appropriately and responsibly which will protect urgent and emergency care for those who need it most.

We want to reassure the public that the NHS remains open during industrial action.

If you or someone in your care needs medical support, please don’t delay in seeking help.

It's important people still come forward when they need care.
