Celebrating Our Wonderful Volunteer, Jess 💛
At Freewheelers, we know that we simply couldn’t do all that we do without the incredible support of our volunteers. They are the heartbeat of our Freewheeler community — giving their time, energy, and kindness in so many ways.
we’re absolutely delighted to celebrate one of our brilliant volunteers, Jess, who was recently nominated for a Central Surrey Volunteering Award.
On Wednesday 29th October, at Cobham Village Hall, the Leader of Surrey County Council, Cllr. Tim Hall, presented Jess with her well-deserved award.
Our nomination said it best:
Jess is an integral part of the Freewheelers family and has been for over eight years — supporting workshops, production staff, and our members. She is a pillar of strength. Jess shows compassion, reliability, flexibility, and excellent communication skills, all driven by a genuine passion for the cause. She is a positive, adaptable team player who takes ownership of tasks and is committed to making a meaningful impact. Jess’s commitment to Freewheelers truly defines her as an exceptional volunteer.
