Have you heard about journaling?
What does it mean to you — and what feelings does it bring up?

You don’t need a new notebook, fancy stationery, or the perfect pen to start.
Just start with what you’ve got — the scrappy pad, the old biro, the back of a receipt if that’s what’s nearby.

You can pick it up and put it down whenever you need to.
It’s not about perfection — it’s about giving your thoughts somewhere to land.

Journaling is a complement to your mental wellbeing, not another thing to get right or feel guilty about.

Have you tried it?
Does it help you?
Or maybe you’ve been thinking about it for a while and aren’t sure where to start?

There’s no right way. Just your way. 💜

And remember — I’m here, and I can help if you want to explore it together.

The old Talking Shed at was such a vision of mine — a place where talking about mental health felt normal. Gently, honestly, and without pressure.

It does feel very different now we’re in a smaller space, and people can’t just drop in anymore. That’s been hard to adjust to — for me, and for some of you too.

It wasn’t how I planned it. My dream was to be open every day so anyone could come — whether feeling steady, wobbly, or somewhere in between.

This is just a little reminder though: it’s different… yet still exactly the same.

When those doors open for events, meet-ups, or Occupational Therapy sessions, the feel of is still here — still welcoming, still kind, still magical 💜

Thank you for staying with me. Here’s to creating, chatting, connecting, and keeping the conversation going — together. 💬

One of the core missions of has always been to make talking about mental health feel normal — something we can do openly, without shame or fear.

This year has brought big transitions, quiet pauses, and a few hard resets. To those who’ve stuck by through it all — thank you. 💜

Gently rebuilding has taken time, but it’s reminded me that healing and growing don’t happen in leaps… they happen one moment at a time.

Here’s to creating, chatting, and connecting together — and to keeping the conversation going 💬

Some days feel steady.
Others feel like too much.

You might be holding things together quietly,
or wondering how you’ll get through the next hour.

If that’s you today — please know, you’re not doing it wrong.
You’re human.
It’s okay, hold on.
You are not alone 💜

This space — — is for the full range of days.
The calm ones.
The chaotic ones.
And everything in between.

Last time, I shared calm skies and soft clouds ☁️
But mindfulness isn’t always calm.
It’s not always peaceful moments or gentle light.

Sometimes, it’s noticing that things feel messy.
That the world feels loud.
That breathing itself feels hard work.

Mindfulness isn’t about chasing calm — it’s about noticing whatever is there.
Even the uncomfortable bits.

That small moment of awareness — even through exhaustion or overwhelm — still counts. 💜

💬 What’s something real you’ve noticed today — big or small, calm or chaotic?

🌿 Mindfulness doesn’t have to be complicated.
It’s not about long meditations or perfect stillness — it’s about noticing.

The light on the clouds.
The sound of your breath.
The pause between one thought and the next.
The smell in the air.

Today, take a moment to stop and notice something simple and beautiful around you.
That’s mindfulness — and it’s enough.

Every small mindful moment helps to ease our stress levels and aid positive mental health 💜

💜 Kind Company

There’s something special about a cuppa shared in kind company. ☕️

Here at , our space opens during group sessions and events — so while we’re not a drop-in café (yet!), every mug poured here still holds warmth, conversation, and connection.

We’ve been thinking about starting a ‘drop-in cuppa’ time — a gentle space to just sit, chat, and be.
💬 Would you be interested in that?
🕒 And if so, what day or time would suit you best?

Your feedback will help shape what comes next at — because connection matters. 💜

Creativity Calms 💜

Making with our hands slows everything down.
It gives our busy minds a rest, helps us focus on the moment, and reminds us that it’s okay not to be “productive” all the time.

At , creativity isn’t about perfection — it’s about the process, the pause, and the peace that comes with it.

✨ And if you’d like to join in, why not come along to Create with on Wednesday 1st October, 7–9 PM?
We’ll be making fabric pumpkins 🎃🧵
It’s £10, with all materials included — plus a big dose of magic.

💌 Message me to book your spot.

Gentle Support 💜

Sometimes we just need a space where we can breathe.
A space where the pressure comes off, and we know we’ll be met with kindness and understanding.

At , support looks different for everyone.
💜 Sometimes it’s simply being listened to.
💜 Sometimes it’s sharing a laugh as we craft.
💜 Sometimes it’s asking a question and getting a little guidance.

And for those who need more focused help, I also offer individual sessions — drawing on my experience as an occupational therapist to give personalised, informed support (£60 for a one-hour session).

Whether it’s in the group or one-to-one, the aim is always the same: a safe space where you can simply come as you are.

💬 What helps you feel most supported?

Connection Matters 💜

We’re wired for connection.
Not just the quick “how are you?” kind, but the real, meaningful connections that remind us we belong.

At , connection happens in small, gentle ways — sharing a story, listening deeply, sitting together in kind company.

And maybe it feels a little different here.
Alongside the cuppas and the crafts, I bring my skills as an occupational therapist. That means I can gently facilitate, help people feel more comfortable, and offer informed advice when it’s needed.

But mostly, it’s just about sitting together.
Connection, not pressure.

💬 What’s one connection that’s lifted you recently?
