This wax of the week was from a tradesman in the building industry.
This is very common as there is a lot of dust in their working environment.

This wax was the size of his thumbnail.

This is what was taken out of an ear this week, the client was a cotton bud user 🫣 we’ve all been guilty of it at some point there’s no shame in it.

Evening everyone, just a reminder to always check what credentials your wax removal provider carries.
A lot of one day courses are popping up, one day isn’t enough time to learn what’s really needed to allow someone access to your ears.
We’ve been doing this for years at Solent Ear Clear, we’ve had extensive training with an NHS course completed, all with distinction passes.
Everyday is a learning day in this profession! Please be aware as this treatment isn’t free and no one wants to pay twice for the privilege of having your hearing restored through wax removal, we see this on more occasions than needed.
