Ten years ago today on a very balmy Halloween, with a truck, a bunch of rugby players and a lot of laughter, we moved into our clinic on Portsmouth Road and Solent Sports Injury Clinic was open!
We would like to say thank you to every single patient who has come to us over the years for your loyalty, friendship and the tears of laughter along the way. It is a privilege to help you all.

We are looking for a new crew member to work on our reception as our lovely receptionist Jayne is retiring at the end of the year. The successful candidate will need to be positive and friendly, with good communication skills both in person and when handling telephone enquiries. We use a computerised diary system, therefore some IT experience would be beneficial although full training will be provided. The position is for Mondays, 8am - 6pm (sometimes to 7.30pm), starting at the beginning of January. There will be extra hours available, covering holiday and sickness of any other members of the team.

What an eventful week and exciting weekend ahead! New awnings and new shop sign to celebrate our 10th year in Lee on the Solent, serving the local community and sports competitions everywhere we’re needed. This weekend Beth is working with Rugby Against Cancer elite 7s in Edinburgh whilst myself and Charlotte head to the heart of rugby at Twickenham to support Hampshire ladies in their defence of the national Div 2 title!

We have awnings! For those who know how very hot the clinic can get in the sun, this is the best thing we have done as we have already noticed such a difference!
In the meantime, we had to have the clinic sign taken down as it was in the way! Our new sign is on its way and due to be installed in the next couple of weeks!
We have had a few comments from people thinking we had closed down, we can assure you all that we are still up and running!!

So since early this morning, the SSIC team have been supporting the Rugby Against Cancer walkers as they pound the streets non- stop between the London Eye and Portsmouth Rugby Club - and yes the lovely Andy came back to join us for the blisterfest as we go through the night. 🩷💙🏉👣🤢
